Seychelles is honoring the legacy of Otumfuo Agyemang Prempeh I by converting the Anglican Church of Victoria into a museum. This church holds great significance as it's where Prempeh I was baptized and confirmed during his exile in Seychelles .

The museum project is already underway, with President H.E. Wavel Ramkalawan signing the necessary documents. This initiative is part of the 100th-anniversary celebrations of Prempeh I's return to Ghana from exile.

In Ghana, a parallel initiative is being spearheaded by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to establish a museum at a cottage near Prempeh I International Airport in Kumasi. This cottage was frequently visited by Prempeh I after his return to Ghana.

Both museum projects aim to celebrate Prempeh I's cultural and historical significance, ensuring his legacy lives on in both Seychelles and Ghana.
