Yesterday, October 20, was Ursula Gifty Owusu-Ekuful's 60th birthday. She has served as Ghana's Minister for Communications and Digitalization for nearly eight years, and she has been a member of parliament for the Ablekuma West Constituency in the Greater Accra Region for three consecutive terms before running for office again. God's 60-year earthly presence can only be defined and referred to as His CHILD OF GRACE for good reason—the trip has been filled with much for which to be grateful.
Because she has overcome obstacles with grace, she refers to herself as a CHILD OF GRACE. On this day, she should be commended for juggling her work as a lawyer with her position as a mother to thousands of people in her constituency, party, nation, and the world at large. Ursula has always been the kind of mother who oversees all manner of significant responsibilities for every child, ensuring their complete satisfaction long before concerns about her own arise.
Her contributions throughout the years to the betterment of women, young ladies, and the constituency have been remarkable. She has improved their everyday lives, listened to their cries on a daily basis, and provided answers that have improved and shaped their lives.
Many have found inspiration in Ursula's scholastic accomplishments throughout the years. She has advanced to the greatest level of schooling and, as she frequently and practically always describes herself in public, is a "charcoal seller's child." Many people, both nearby and far away, who have completed and are continuing their education at the same higher level have been greatly impacted by it. Due to all of these noteworthy events, many of which occurred over her 60-year existence, Tony Park, a Dansoman suburb, hosted a Praise and Thanksgiving Show.
To give JEHOVAH GOD all the credit, gospel performers including Obaapa Christy, Piesie Esther, Ohemaa Mercy, Kofi Sarpong, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, and others rocked the show for the audience. It was an innocent scene, the catalyst for the electric wave that swept through the audience. The place was filled with the joy of shared faith as the holy spirit made an appearance.
Concerning Ursula Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has served three terms as a Member of Parliament representing the Ablekuma West seat and as the Minister of Communications and Digitalization for the Republic of Ghana.

She also oversees the creation of a strong framework to support the digitalization of the economy and the expansion of e-government services. Her passions are fostering the growth of indigenous technology, assisting the local startup community in the technology sector, and promoting the use of ICT by women, children, and people with disabilities.

In addition, she has received recognition for her outstanding dedication and participation as an important partner in ITU Telecom World, as well as awards from the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), a non-profit organization of women lawyers, for her outstanding work in defending the rights of women and children.
