Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has commissioned a brand-new, ultra-modern head office complex for the Lands Commission in Accra. This marks a significant milestone in the transformation of the Commission, which had previously faced challenges with office space and document handling .

The new complex is part of the government's efforts to modernize land administration in Ghana. Dr. Bawumia had paid a surprise visit to the Lands Commission back in February 2018, and this new development is a follow-up on the government's commitment to addressing the challenges faced by the Commission.

Dr. Bawumia emphasized that the completion of the new head office complex, along with the government's support for digital initiatives, demonstrates their commitment to creating a robust and efficient land administration system. This system aims to promote sustainable economic development, social cohesion, and a vibrant investment climate.
