Because there aren't enough cars to take them to their different areas, more than 500 New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters are stuck at the party's headquarters with just a few hours till Ghana's general elections. The NPP arranged transportation to take its members to several constituencies as part of its voter mobilization activities. However, many supporters—some of whom have been at the headquarters since 6:00 a.m.—are irritated by logistical difficulties. Some of the people who were stranded expressed their dissatisfaction in an interview, stating that they had only been fed yogurt and pie during the day. Some expressed concern that they might not be able to return to their constituencies in time to cast their ballots, while many bemoaned the absence of adequate preparedness.
