The Ote Dollar Foundation has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to improving community health and supporting vulnerable groups. On Saturday, September 6, 2025, the Foundation made a charitable donation to the Delivery Suite of the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.
As a Ghana-based NGO dedicated to education, health, economic empowerment, and youth development, this initiative aligns with our public health interventions and social welfare objectives. The donation included essential supplies for new mothers, aimed at ensuring safer and more dignified delivery experiences.
Impact of the Donation:
1. Provision of delivery and postnatal care items to support new mothers.
2. Reduction of the financial burden on mothers unable to afford essentials.
3. Support to healthcare providers with much-needed supplies to enhance service delivery.
This intervention not only brings immediate relief to mothers and babies in need but also reflects the Foundation’s broader mission to create opportunities for all
Building on Previous Interventions:
This donation is the third major intervention by the Foundation in 2025, following two impactful activities earlier in the year:
1. Support to Aboom School for Special Needs (March 5, 2025):
The Foundation visited learners of Aboom School for Special Needs in Cape Coast, offering them essential support. It was a humbling experience to witness their resilience and joy. This activity reinforced our belief in inclusivity and the beauty of diversity.
