The Government, through the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly, is set to embark on a powerful initiative, "Nkoko Nketsenketse for the Cape Coast North Constituency," a bold move to reinforce food security and empower local poultry farmers.

This pivotal event, scheduled for Thursday, 2nd April 2026, at the Forecourt of the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly Hall, promises to be a ray of

restored hope for the community.

The distribution ceremony, graced by high government leaders including H.E. John Dramani Mahama, Hon. Eric Opoku, Minister of Food and Agriculture, and Hon. Ekow Panyin Okyere-Eduamoah, Central Regional Minister, underscores the government's unrelenting commitment to enhancing livelihoods and propelling local production to unprecedented heights.

Hon. Dr. Kwamena Minta Nyarku, MP for Cape Coast North Constituency, emphasized, "This initiative epitomizes our dedication to fostering a robust and self-sufficient agricultural sector.Indeed, by empowering our poultry farmers, we are not only boosting food security but also creating a ripple effect of prosperity across the community."
