‘Corrupt’ A Plus has diverted 2 million Ghana cedis of his common fund into personal company account - Abronye DC

Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC and the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has leveled serious allegations against Kwame Asare Obeng, also known as A Plus, the Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central.

Abronye DC claims that A Plus diverted GH¢2 million from his common fund into a personal company account.

In a fiery Facebook post on May 1, 2025, Abronye DC criticized A Plus for allegedly deceiving his constituents with unfulfilled promises and questioned his competence in legal matters.

Abronye DC also accused A Plus of misusing state resources, claiming he enjoyed state fuel privileges for two years despite not being a government appointee.

The accusations come amid a broader political dispute involving A Plus and Attorney General Dr. Dominic Ayine.

A Plus has accused Dr. Ayine of attempting to bribe Ghana's Appointment Committee with GH¢500,000, a claim Dr. Ayine has denied, stating the funds were campaign contributions.
