Jeremiah Maclean Jnr. JM participates in National Economic Dialogue

The National Economic Dialogue, a high-level policy engagement, brought together government officials, economic experts, and industry players to deliberate on strategies for reviving and strengthening Ghana’s economy.

The event, held at the Accra International Conference Center, focused on key economic challenges and proposed actionable solutions to ensure sustainable growth.

Jeremiah Maclean, affectionately known as Junior JM, the Greater Accra Regional Proforum financial director, joined the second day of the dialogue, where crucial discussions took place to map out Ghana’s economic future.

During the session, several committees were formed to conduct research on strategies for advancing the economy. Among the key committees were the Macro-Economy Committee and the Structural Improvement Committee, both tasked with identifying critical areas for economic transformation.

The committees later presented their reports, after which key sector ministers were brought on board to provide further insights. The panel included Dr. Ato Forson finance minister, the energy mkinister, the Minister of Agriculture, the trade minister, the Governor of the Bank of Ghana (BOG), and the Head of the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC).

They shared their perspectives, addressed concerns, and provided feedback on the proposed economic measures.

Jeremiah Maclean Jnr. JM commended the National Economic Dialogue Planning Committee for successfully organizing such an impactful event within just two weeks, acknowledging the depth of thought and effort that went into its execution.

He also praised the President for upholding his commitment to the 120-day social contract, a promise made to Ghanaians during the campaign, reinforcing the government's dedication to national progress.

Beyond the discussions, Jeremiah Maclean Jnr. JM seized the opportunity to learn, engage in insightful conversations, and network with industry players in the business community during the lunch session.
