It remains unclear whether Media General, affiliated with TV3, was officially invited to the press conference.
The NPP caucus has, on several occasions, accused the media house of exhibiting bias in favor of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).
In a widely circulated video, Alhaji Masawudu is seen removing the microphone labeled TV3 and dropping it to the floor.
The Minority Leader in Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, who was present at the event, did not respond to the incident but rather looked on silently, posing surprised at the NPP caucus member.
The action has sparked criticism, with many condemning the Vice Chairman's behavior as inappropriate and unprofessional.

Very uncouth behavior. No wonder I don't vote for them. Nonsense
