Dr. Kwaku Aseidu Nketiah, the Vice National Youth Working Committee Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), made a significant donation of party T-shirts, footballs, and sets of jerseys worth thousands of Ghana cedis to youth groups in the Vowagni and Eshawai communities. This donation took place during a community engagement event as part of Dr. Nketiah's four-day tour of the Northern Region.

Furthermore, he reaffirmed the NDC's intention to abolish the controversial E-levy and betting taxes, which he claimed have placed undue financial burdens on the youth and families in the region.
"The development of the Tolon Constituency is a core concern for the NDC, and our party is fully committed to fostering an environment where our youth can thrive," Dr. Nketiah stated. "We understand the unique challenges you face, and we are here to listen and act on your needs."
The Vice National Youth Working Committee Chairman also expressed optimism about the upcoming December elections, asserting that the NDC aims to reclaim the Northern Region as its stronghold. "With your support, we believe we can return to power and enact the changes that will benefit not just Tolon but all communities within the region," he added.
