Accra, Ghana - The Ghana Cricket Association (GCA), in collaboration with the
International Cricket Council (ICC), is pleased to announce the hosting of a 3-day
ICC Level 1 Umpire Tutors course. The program, scheduled for May 27 - 29, 2025,
will take place at the University of Ghana Conference room.
About the Course: The ICC level 1 Umpires Tutors course aims to equip
participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively tutor and mentor
cricket umpires in Ghana. The course will cover various aspects of umpiring,
including rules, regulations, and best practices.

About Ghana Cricket Association: The Ghana Cricket Association (GCA) is the
governing body for cricket in Ghana, responsible for the development and

This course is a significani step in developing cricket umpiring in Ghana. We are
