17 Ayawaso East Assembly members submit a nomination for the late MP's widow in the NDC primaries

In order to allow Hajia Amina Adam to run in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primaries on February 7, ahead of the by-election, a total of 17 Assembly members from the Ayawaso East seat have collectively paid for and submitted her candidacy forms.The group is supporting the late MP Mahama Naser Toure's wife, Hajia Amina Adam, in an effort to maintain what they call a strong political organization and legacy of service in Ayawaso East. Ismail Abdul Razark, speaking to Adom News on behalf of the members, stated that extensive conversations were conducted prior to the decision to endorse her candidacy. He clarified that conversations with Hajia Amina Adam verified her readiness to assume the leadership role.
