Regarding the status of the investigation into the death of journalist Ahmed Suale, Ghana Police Service's Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has received a severe ultimatum from Kwame Asare-Obeng, Member of Parliament for the Gomoa Central Constituency. The MP said he was asked to visit the CID headquarters last year to present case-related facts in a statement posted on social media. In that discussion, he named a prominent minister from the previous administration who was reportedly involved in hiring attackers to do the murder. He further stressed the reliability of his source by disclosing it to the CID director.
