Two government officials and six people were killed in a horrific helicopter crash, leaving Ghanaians stunned and in great sadness.
A Facebook post by well-known Ghanaian prophet Nigel Gaisie has reappeared amid the country's grief, highlighting what many are referring to be a fulfilled prophecy.
In a vision, Prophet Nigel Gaisie saw the President dressed in dark clothing, a common symbol in the prophetic community for sorrow, a loss of a national leader, or the death of a high-ranking figure. He made it extremely evident that prophets sometimes perceive things in fragments rather than in their entirety. He did, however, urge that Ghana must take seriously the recognition and advancement of genuine prophets.
His message included the following:
Ghana is in mourning today following a devastating plane crash that claimed the lives of members of parliament. This serves as a stark reminder that God is still speaking and that He is in charge of human affairs, even though our hearts are heavy. Let's pray, pay attention, and exercise caution. "Amos 3:7...ADM."
In the wake of the helicopter disaster on August 6, 2025, which claimed the lives of:
Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Defense Minister
Environmental Minister Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed
Deputy National Security Coordinator Alhaji Muniru Mohammed
and five more, including an NDC leader and military officers.
The prophesy is currently being shared by a large number of Nigel Gaisie fans and social media users, who describe it as a "divine warning" that was not taken seriously.
New discussions concerning the function of prophecy in national affairs have been spurred by the prophet's message. Others are demanding greater proof and clarity when such visions are revealed, while others think it's time the country pay more heed to spiritual warnings.
