The deceased Ghanaian politician Akua Donkor's family has denied being aware of the funeral posters that have been making the rounds on social media. The Abusuapaynin said in an interview with Captain Smart on Onua Maakye that the family has chosen to plan the funeral and burial for March 27, 2025. Although it hasn't been confirmed yet, they chose to wait for the government to give them a suitable funeral date because their deceased family member was a politician.

A family member who was also on the show stated that they haven't paid anyone to design a funeral poster for them. He continued by saying that they only saw posters flying on social media and that they are shocked as to who was behind the poster and its circulation. The Abusuapayin claimed that he contacted the real Abusuapayin to find out if he was the one who gave the go-ahead for posters to be printed, but he also said he never asked anyone to make posters of the funeral.
