
The police have identified him as Mahamadu Gariba Kirror, who, according to the authorities, was the leader of the robbery gang of six, that attacked and killed a mini bus driver and looted passengers of their possessions in Jamuary 2025 in the Atebubu district.
Gariba was apprehended by the police on Saturday, [January 31, 2026] around 10:30am based on intelligence.
