After months of conflict, Nigerian videographer Sire Choppenson has said that he and Ghanaian dancehall performer Shatta Wale are now back together. Choppenson recently apologized in public to Shatta Wale and his manager, Sammy Flex, for previous claims he made about unpaid arrears for many music video projects. Choppenson said that Shatta Wale owed him money for several video shootings, including the Tamale-shot "Killa Ji Mi" video, which sparked the argument. When Sammy Flex, the manager of the SM boss, got involved, Choppenson threatened legal action, which heightened tensions.
