The terrible accident in East Legon has prompted Ghanaian musician Kwabena Kwabena to speak out and ask people to be compassionate and take important lessons from the incident instead of passing judgment.

In an interview with Adom TV, Kwabena Kwabena expressed his deepest sympathies to the victims' families and emphasized the importance of showing compassion at such trying times. Two small girls tragically lost their lives in the October 12, 2024, tragedy involving Bishop Salifu Amoako's 16-year-old son.

"When you see a man fall, don't laugh, learn," Kwabena Kwabena emphasized as she asked others to think back on the situation. He also emphasized the significance of upholding tougher traffic laws, particularly those that pertain to underage driving.

"Our laws aren't truly effective; they seem to only apply to the weak, the vulnerable, and the poor," the musician said in his speech, expressing anger with Ghana's selective application of the law. In order to guarantee that everyone is held accountable, regardless of their social level, Kwabena Kwabena called for justice in the legal system.

A wider discussion on road safety and the importance of empathy in the face of tragedy has been triggered by his powerful message.
