Francis-Xavier Kojo Sosu, a member of parliament from Madina, has brazenly said that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is no longer blessed by God. The vocal congressman asserted that the government's actions have distanced it from God's blessings in an interview with Bola Ray on Star FM. "God's hand has shifted away from the NPP," Sosu said, citing the party's corruption, poor leadership, and unfulfilled promises as justifications. He claims that there is a great deal of unhappiness among Ghanaians as a result of the NPP's failure to preserve the ideals and practices that are consistent with divine direction.
In order to restore optimism and progress, he called for a change in leadership, arguing that the hardships citizens suffer are proof of the party's moral and political shortcomings. As the 2024 elections get near, Sosu also urged Ghanaians to consider the nation's history and make decisions that are consistent with honesty and responsibility.
