If Sammy Gyamfi is fired, I will sell my church building, Agradaa promises.

The founder and head of Heaven Way Church, evangelist Mama Pat, also known as Nana Agradaa, has promised to sell her church building and provide half of the proceeds to Goldbod Sammy Gyamfi, the interim CEO, so that he can launch a business if he is fired for giving her $800.

Following the release of a video showing Sammy Gyamfi giving fetish priestess and current preacher Patricia Asiedua, also known as Nana Agradaa, enormous sums of money, he has come under intense scrutiny.

"Some senior NDC party members are jealous of Sammy Gyamfi's position and want to use this act of kindness โ€“ the $800 gift he gave me as a reason to get him sacked," Agradaa said in a self-recorded video.

My Bible, anointing oil, and mantle all bear my vow to sell my church building, split the revenues in half, and give Sammy Gyamfi half of the money so he may launch a business.

Sammy Gyamfi has since apologized in public for his transgression, though.

Sammy Gyamfi says he truly apologizes for the regrettable act of irresponsibility.

He disclosed that the money given to Nana Agradaa is part of his lifelong and daily practice of lending to those in need.

"People, I've noticed the surge of criticism directed at me during the past 24 hours. To be clear, this was only a kind deed toward a fellow human being, consistent with my lifelong and everyday practice of assisting others in need.

I truly believed that I was performing this kind of compassion in secret, and I never dreamed that it would eventually make its way into the public sphere. "That is regrettable and unfortunate," he said.

"How did say gyamfi gifting agraadaa $800 become a national issue in this country?" is how several Ghanaians have responded to the ongoing controversy. What a farce ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ Where in our constitution does it not forbid or make it unlawful for those in public office to offer gifts or money to others? ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ If anything's awful, let's include it and make it a law.

The problem is being exacerbated by this woman. She should just be quiet and avoid the situation. Another said, "I don't think there would have been a problem if it had been anyone else."

"I don't even understand why this is even an issue," said another netizen. So you're telling me that a person who works and makes his own money can't steal money from others? What is $800? ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ this nation paa.

"Let's be honest, what she is saying is true. You can see they have set an agenda for Sammy Gyamfi and they wanted to get a case to back it. $800 is not that huge money for the whole country to handle Sammy Gyamfi in such manner. This is pure hatred and jealousy towards Sammy Gyamfi," another person added.
