Infuriated by global information regarding the pool analysis for Mahama, Asiedu Nkeita

A well-known figure in Ghana's National Democratic Congress (NDC), Asiedu Nketia, expressed shock at a recent Global Information Analytics poll that puts Mahama ahead in the 2024 presidential contest. Nketia acknowledged the poll's result but questioned its authenticity, describing the results as false and deceptive. This response occurs as the NDC gets ready to run against Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the next election.

Despite the poll's seeming support for Mahama, Nketia pointed out that he thinks its methodology is defective. The poll, according to Nketia, is designed to deceive voters and does not accurately represent public sentiment. Although the poll shows Mahama's strong position going into the election, Nketia warned that such predictions are too soon.

The NDC's dedication to reviving Ghana's economy and enhancing the lives of its people, he emphasized, would be crucial to the election's outcome. Nketia also talked about how the epidemic has harmed Ghana's economy, criticizing the way the government has handled the downturn, which he said has impacted several African economies recently. Nketia also argued for improvements to give graduates marketable skills by pointing to the problematic educational system and its role in the high unemployment rate. In spite of the controversy surrounding the poll, Nketia is still certain that the NDC would win over Ghanaians in the December election.
