In the Volta Region, John-Peter Amewu, the Member of Parliament for Hohoe, has opened a brand-new stadium with 10,000 seats. The new facility, unveiled during a spectacular event, is expected to stimulate sports development and foster youth engagement in the neighborhood. A major turning point in Hohoe's infrastructural development, the stadium has seats for thousands of people, athletics tracks, and a football field. It is intended to accommodate community programming in addition to local and regional athletic events. Speaking during the commissioning, Mr. Amewu reaffirmed his dedication to using sports to promote young development. "For Hohoe, this facility is a dream come true. It gives our young people a stage on which to display their abilities and strive for bigger things," he remarked.

Along with stressing the stadium's potential to draw in investment and increase regional economic activity, he urged stakeholders and local authorities to keep the facility in good condition. A sizable crowd attended the ceremony, which included dignitaries, sports fans, and traditional elders who praised the MP for his commitment to the constituency's development. The new stadium has been praised by Hohoe sports organizations, which have called it a game-changer for the neighborhood. "This facility will put Hohoe on the map and help nurture young athletes," said a local coach. John-Peter Amewu's larger development initiatives to improve Hohoe's infrastructure and possibilities for its citizens include the stadium's opening.
