During a sermon in the United States, Archbishop Boateng urged the incoming government to make infrastructure, investment, and anti-corruption measures the top priorities in order to transform Ghana. Archbishop Boateng highlighted Ghana's enormous potential to draw in private capital. He pointed out that with a well designed system, Ghana could provide investors with returns that are unmatched by its international rivals. He reflected on a social media post in which he described how a Nigerian person favored Ghana over places like London and Berlin, highlighting the country's standing as a land of opportunity.

Road networks in particular were recognized by the Archbishop as a crucial sector that needed urgent improvement. In addition to boosting connectivity, he claimed that better roads will increase commerce and make Ghana a more desirable place to do business. He also emphasized how crucial it is to combat corruption by enacting legislation that addresses fraud and holds offenders responsible. Archbishop Boateng stated, "Ghana will become a top location for international investment if we can establish an open system free from fraud and corruption." "The potential already exists; effective governance is all that is required to unlock it." In his prayer, he also urged President-elect Mahama to surround himself with capable and trustworthy advisors who will help him make choices that advance equity, justice, and fairness for all Ghanaians.

Using the occasion, Archbishop Boateng praised Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his outstanding election-related leadership. He called Dr. Bawumia's politely accepting defeat even before the Electoral Commission made its formal announcement a rare display of statesmanship and patriotism in African politics. Vice President Bawumia showed his passion for Ghana and dedication to democracy with this noble deed. We should be proud of that attribute," Archbishop Boateng said. Archbishop Boateng also discussed in his address the black star on Ghana's flag and its prophetic meaning. The black star, he clarified, represents Ghana's function as a ray of hope for the African diaspora and as the cultural and spiritual home of Black people worldwide.

"Ghana's destiny to lead and inspire black people worldwide is symbolized by the black star," he remarked. "Many people view Ghana as a calm and friendly place to call home, and we need to embrace and foster this identity." In closing, Archbishop Boateng urged his congregation and the global world to consider Ghana as a top investment location. He said he was confident Ghana could fulfill its potential as a world model of development and wealth with the correct leadership and reforms.
