Tue, 17 Dec 2024 Source: Isaac Appiah

After posting pictures from her most recent Thanksgiving service, a post on the official Twitter profile of former Fisheries and Aquaculture Development Minister Hawa Koomson has generated a lot of social media activity. The occasion, which was attended by her church family, gave the vocal politician a chance to thank God and her followers after the general election in 2024 has ended.Hawa Koomson sent a touching letter to go along with the photos, highlighting her steadfast faith and fortitude. "I joined my church family on Sunday to give thanks and praise to God," she added. It served as a potent reminder that He alone is the source of our strength and hope.I want to express my gratitude to my fans for their unwavering work.Your dedication and hard work were not in vain.

Online, the message immediately became popular, receiving a lot of responses from both political analysts and supporters. Some praised her for putting faith at the heart of her message, while others praised her optimistic perspective and unwavering dedication to her political path. After all the bad things she supposedly caused in her constituency during the just concluded elections, a sizable chunk were likewise shocked to see her in a church. Some of the comments I collected from the post are listed here.

"Innocent blood was spilled in your hands, and this young lost soul will receive justice no matter what. Enjoy your loss because it's over! "In Ghana, religion is abused! God ought to deliver us from the flagrant abuse of religion as a haven for deception. She is exposed by the luxury, lack of regret, and lack of compassion for the victims in her area.Where had religion and piety gone during the eight years of corruption, lies, and impudence? You will be held accountable for the crimes you committed against the people of Ghana. You have a limited number of days left. Accountability will arrive soon.Either your pastor is scared to speak the truth, you have bought him off with bribes, or, even worse, you don't attend church; you only sometimes find yourself in a religious setting.
