According to Samuel Nartey George, Ghana's minister of communications, a specialized cybersecurity team is working to compile a case against a Russian national who is said to have exploited Ghanaian women.
A national outcry has been triggered by the suspect's alleged covert recording of women's private films without their knowledge.
The cybersecurity team plays a crucial role in gathering evidence and building a compelling case for prosecution, Minister George underlined, adding that the authorities are doing everything in their power to ensure that justice is done.
The Communications Minister claims that the team is painstakingly recording every piece of digital evidence connected to the suspect's activities. This entails monitoring any illegal recordings and making certain that all evidence satisfies legal requirements for admissibility in court.
