Kofi Adomah Wanwani discussed the poor treatment he experienced from the people of Dormaa following his eye shooting at a press conference on March 13, 2025. Kofo Adomah clarified that he did not receive the visitation and support from the Dormaa people that he had anticipated.

In an audacious social media video, Ohene David urged Kofi Adomah Wanwani to present proof that the people of Dormaa had taken care of him.

Kofi Adomah Wanwani should also present all of the medical records pertaining to his eye condition, Ohene David continued.

On January 15, 2025, Ghanaian broadcaster Kofi Adomah Nwanwani was a part of a shooting incident in Dormaa. Kofi Adomah suffered from blurred vision in both eyes as a result of the incident, which happened at a festival.

He was airlifted to Dubai for more advanced medical care after receiving initial treatment in Ghana. He lost sight in one eye as a result of the incident, and he later lost sight in the other.

Miracle Adoma, the wife of Kofi Adomah, chastised the Dormaa traditional authority, particularly the Dormaahene, for failing to contact their family following the event.
