In addition to thrilling performances, the Rapperholic Homecoming Concert—already tipped to be one of the most exciting nights on Ghana's music calendar—brought about an emotional experience that will never be forgotten. In a stirring display of respect and gratitude, Ghana's most well-known rapper, Sarkodie, dropped to his knees and gave rap icon Obrafour an embrace in front of thousands of excited fans at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. When Obrafour, who is regarded as the "Rap Sofo" and is considered to be one of the most influential figures in Ghanaian hiplife and rap culture, joined Sarkodie on stage, the scene began. Sarkodie startled the audience by lowering himself on his knees and clinging to Obrafour without getting up, in contrast to the customary handshake or quick embrace that is expected at such occasions.
