As the December 7th elections draw near, Twene Jonas, a Ghanaian political analyst based in the United States, has taken aim at musician Sarkodie. In a recent video, Jonas blasted Sarkodie, calling her a hypocrite for remaining silent about the nation's present problems.
Jonas claims that Sarkodie was a loudmouth who frequently attacked the former NDC government while it was in office, which encouraged Ghanaians to support the NPP. He went on to say that Sarkodie wrote a song praising President Akufo-Addo and urging Ghanaians to keep him in power after his first term, but this election season, he has miraculously lost his voice.
Sarkodie was not spared by Jonas, who repeatedly insulted him for not speaking out against the regime he persuaded Ghanaians to support.
