In an exclusive interview with Fabea FM's Apiah-Kubi on the 'Me Man Ho Dadwen' show, the Public Relations Officer for Ambassadors for Christ Council in Techiman, in the Bono East Region, Apostle Erezola John, shared his thoughts on former President John Mahama's recent meeting with the clergy.

The man of God, on behalf of the Council, praised Mahama's willingness to listen and address concerns with the clergy.

"The meeting was enlightening. Mahama showed sincerity and a commitment to peace and stability in Ghana, and his message will engage in much understanding of his policies," Apostle John said.

Mahama reportedly discussed his vision for economic growth, good governance, and moral values during the meeting.

Apostle John acknowledged that Mahama's efforts to build relationships with the clergy are crucial and that their influence could have a significant positive impact on his campaign.

When asked about the meeting's impact on the 2024 elections, the pastor noted, "We pray for peaceful elections and wise leadership. We urge all Ghanaians to prioritize unity, tolerance, and understanding."

He added that Mahama's meeting with the clergy has sparked interest in the religious community's role in Ghana's politics. The former president's commitment to introducing an annual National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving, supporting churches' revenue-generating ventures, and ensuring church involvement in school management was well-received.

The pastor concluded, "We appreciate Mahama's willingness to listen and look forward to continued engagement."
