Supporters and political analysts are rallying behind Hon. Lateef Ajani as a strategic choice for the position of Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Abuakwa North Constituency under the administration of President John Dramani Mahama.
In a statement by Kumaka Raphael (Toxic), the Eastern Regional Communications Officer for VDC, he emphasized that Hon. Lateef's proven track record, deep community connections, and leadership qualities make him the ideal candidate to drive development in the municipality.
According to Kumaka Raphael, Lateef Ajani’s commitment to the welfare of the people and his ability to mobilize resources for development set him apart. He believes Lateef’s appointment would align with President Mahama’s vision of empowering young leaders who understand the grassroots challenges and can work effectively to implement sustainable solutions.
Beyond his leadership qualities, Lateef Ajani is seen as someone who can foster partnerships, engage stakeholders, and tackle key issues such as youth unemployment and infrastructure development, which remain critical concerns in Abuakwa North.
His appointment, according to supporters, would also serve as a testament to President Mahama’s commitment to strengthening local governance and inclusive development in the region.
As discussions continue, all eyes are on President Mahama’s administration to see whether Lateef Ajani will be given the nod to serve as MCE for Abuakwa North Municipality
