The newly installed queen mother of Akyem Ati in the Adonteng Division of the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area, Nana Brempomaa Amoafoa II, has declared education as her foremost priority for her people. During her outdooring ceremony, held at the Akyem Ati Presbyterian School Park on Saturday, August 26, 2024, she emphasized a commitment to accessible education and skill development opportunities for all, regardless of age. Her goal is to empower the youth through vocational and technical training to curb delinquency and foster productive avenues for their talents.

Nana Brempomaa also highlighted the critical role of health in community development, sharing that Hon. Gifty Twum-Ampofo, the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North, has promised to establish a Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound for Ati. The queen mother assured the community of her dedication to actively following up on this initiative to ensure its timely construction, as it will address pressing healthcare needs for the area.

A passionate call for unity was a central message in Nana Brempomaa's address, encouraging all citizens to work together toward the development of Akyem Ati and Ghana as a whole. She underlined that a cohesive and harmonious community is vital for achieving sustained progress and prosperity.

The ceremonial event, led by Barima Ati Awuah Kwaako, Akyem Ati Chief, under the theme “Celebrating Ati Unity for Development,” was marked by vibrant cultural displays and the presence of notable dignitaries, including Hon. Gifty Twum-Ampofo, chiefs from surrounding communities, the general public, and members of the media.
