The Konkomba Chief of Olebu Ubor Kwabena Ntiador II has held his first community engagement meeting with residents, focusing on unity, peace, and the development of the Olebu Konkomba community.

Addressing the gathering, the chief revealed that since his installation, he had not officially met his people, and many residents had also not had the opportunity to meet him. He explained that the meeting was organized to formally introduce himself and the Queen Mother, and to create a direct line of communication between the leadership and the community.

He encouraged residents to bring their concerns and issues to him and the Queen Mother, stressing that leadership is there to serve the people. The chief also used the opportunity to advise the community to maintain peace at all times, noting that cases of disputes and litigation are becoming increasingly common.

The Queen Mother(Olebu Konkomba), Doris Larriba Dorimani, reinforced the chief’s message by calling on residents to live in harmony and work together for the progress of the community.

Also speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the Olebu Landlords Association, Samuel Jaji Jalley, urged residents to support the chief and contribute towards development initiatives. He emphasized that no one should exclude themselves from communal contributions, as collective effort is essential for the growth of Olebu.

Community members were also reminded that the Greater Accra Konkomba Chief is different from the Olebu Konkomba Chief, as each serves a distinct role within their respective areas.
