A former SRC President of the University of Education Winneba (UEW), Boateng Samuel Clinton, has vowed to help unseat the incumbent government, which he accuses of economic mismanagement and breeding hub of corrupt apostles of Nana Addo/Bawumia government.

Clinton, who served as SRC President of UEW-Kumasi now AAMUSTED from July 2019 to March 2021, has emerged as an influential voice whose endorsement is expected to resonate with the youth and academic communities; a key demographics in the upcoming elections.

In a notable boost to the National Democratic Congress' (NDC) campaign, the former student politician now based in the US, has intensified his support for the party with a substantial donation. This was made during a mega campaign health walk in the Biakoye Constituency of the Oti Region on Saturday, 30th November, 2024, where Clinton donated over 500 NDC-branded T-shirts, Royal motorcycle, and an undisclosed amount of money to the party.

Apostle Daniel Osei Bonsu, the Head Pastor of Victor’s Crown Tabernacle who delivered the donation on behalf of Clinton said, "Clinton is happy to be part of the NDC's rescue mission" , hence the donation.

The said donation was officially received on behalf of the Oti Regional Chairman of the NDC by the Regional Organizer of the party, Sulemana Abdul-Mumuni. The Organizer stressed the significance of the donation to the Biakoye Constituency, and promised to put it to good use.

The party acknowledged that, this is not the first time Clinton has made such a significant donation to the NDC. Earlier this year, he donated a Toyota Tundra, and additional funds to the party's Ashanti Regional branch and has been actively supporting their activities.
