Accra, Ghana – Honourable Mrs. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, joined a distinguished panel at the 2025 Women's Dialogue held at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City, Accra. The event, themed "Resetting the Agenda for Women: Accelerating Action on Women's Rights, Equity, and Empowerment," brought together high-profile personalities, including Her Excellency Vice President Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang.
Expressing her gratitude, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe commended the Vice President and the event organizers for creating a platform to discuss critical issues affecting women. She shared the stage with esteemed panelists, including Nana Gyentsi Amoako X, Queen Boresah Fantevie, Peggy Ama Donkor, and Dr. Latifatu Mohammed.
Her contributions centered on two key areas:
Promoting Women's Participation in Governance: She highlighted strategies such as reserved seats, leadership training, and financial support to encourage more women to take up leadership roles. She stressed the need for an enabling environment that fosters women’s involvement in decision-making processes.
Empowering Women Leaders: Hon. Gyan Cudjoe emphasized the importance of mentorship, networking, and access to funding to help women leaders grow and make meaningful impacts in their respective fields.
The event attracted a diverse audience, including diplomats, ambassadors, members of parliament, entrepreneurs, and CEOs.
