The team behind Operation Recover All Loot, headed by Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament for North Tongu, has made great strides in their probe into asset misappropriation and state capture during the previous government.
Ablakwa said the team has obtained strong proof of widespread stealing of public assets in an interview with reporters in the Eastern Region. "When we present our report, the Ghanaian people will see the tremendous work that has gone on-the extent of the loot and how all of us have worked successfully to ensure the evidence is coordinated for action by our attorney general and other institutions," said the president.
The team, appointed by President John Dramani Mahama, includes prominent figures like Nathan Kofi Boakye, Martin Kpebu, Raymond Archer, and Daniel Domelevo.
Their mandate is to investigate and document instances of state capture and asset misappropriation and present their findings to the President.
