Liha Miller, the former spouse of Ghanaian musician Patapaa, recently gave her account of how her marriage ended. On December 16, 2024, she talked candidly about her difficulties and how she finally made the decision to break up with him, stressing that it was a difficult but necessary choice.
The situation worsened over time, Miller explained, even though she tried to save her marriage to Patapaa. "I didn’t do anything wrong by moving on because the marriage was already falling apart," she replied. She stated her conviction that she would file for divorce, admitting that she couldn't stay in a relationship that had already failed. After talking to her family about the situation, they were suspicious of her inability to communicate with Patapaa and started to wonder how long she would maintain the front. She disclosed that she was greatly impacted by the damage done to her reputation by Patapaa and others. "I have cried a lot over this marriage, and I tried to save it," she stated.
Miller also talked about her ambitions for the future, saying that she is currently concentrated on advancing in her life. She acknowledged that her formal divorce was completed in April and expressed her desire to get married again after the procedure is officially over. "I am young, I don’t have children, and I want to find someone who is ready for a serious relationship," she explained. Since Patapaa and she haven't spoken in years, she made it plain that there is no possibility of a reconciliation. Miller stressed the importance of concluding this chapter for her own development, even though their marriage was only officially recognized in Ghana. Her statement, "I can’t live two lives," reaffirmed her resolve to completely let go of the past.
