Bawah Mogtari: Don't believe phony appointment lists.

John Dramani Mahama's office has denied rumors regarding alleged appointment lists that have been making the rounds on social media.

This comes after fictitious lists of appointees purportedly belonging to the president-elect went viral.

"False and unauthorised" is how the Office characterized these lists in a statement signed by Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Special Aide to the President-Elect.

No formal nominations or appointments have been made, the statement added, and it asked the public to ignore such stories.

It emphasized that the only reliable source of accurate information should be the Office of the President-Elect's confirmed communications.
