When a group of angry youths stormed the local police station in Ejura, in the Ashanti Region, chaos broke out.

Infuriated, the group set the facility on fire and released prisoners on remand.

Still unknown is what caused the commotion.

The crowd overpowered police officers throughout the incident, damaging property before setting the station on fire.
