
President John Dramani Mahama has extended his best wishes to Honorable Samuel Nartey George on his new appointment as Minister of Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovation.

In a recent address to the nation, Mahama emphasized the responsibility placed on Sam George to safeguard and enhance Ghana’s communication systems. “We also have the responsibility of promoting Ghanaian communication and digitalization. Ghana’s communications sector has seen incremental growth for the past decades, and you, Honorable Samuel Nartey Dzata George, are expected not only to continue this growth trajectory but to create policies that expand the frontiers of the sector,” he stated.
As the Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Sam George has been a vocal advocate on various national issues, including education, healthcare, and governance. He has also championed the rights of his constituents and is known for his fearless stance against policies he deems detrimental.
Throughout his political career, Sam George has been a fierce critic of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), frequently challenging their policies and governance decisions.
