Accusing former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings of betraying her late husband, Jerry John Rawlings, for political benefit is one of the latest controversial statements made by irate, loud-mouthed journalist Kevin Taylor.
In a contentious moment in Parliament, the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) allegedly called Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings "a murderer's daughter." His remarks follow that incident.
Kevin Taylor was outraged and said that the ruling party's disdain for her daughter and the memory of the late Jerry John Rawlings in Parliament was due to Nana Konadu's supposed political ties to the NPP.
According to him, she "sold" Rawlings to the NPP and President Nana Akufo-Addo, enabling them to disregard his legacy and rewrite history after his death.
“Your greed is the reason the NPP has the audacity to call your daughter a murderer’s daughter. You have been in bed with them for years, and now they have turned on you,” Taylor stated.
