The founder and leader of Believers Worship Center, Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei Duah, has sent a hopeful and uplifting message to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as the 2024 elections get near.

Prophet Adom Kyei Duah's church was the site of a surprise visit by Dr. Bawumia and senior officials from the NPP's Ashanti Regional branch on Sunday, December 1, 2024. The Ashanti Regional Chairman was very grateful for the church's continued support and the welcoming reception they received during the visit. Additionally, the chairman gave the church a GHS 100,000 donation as a token of goodwill.

Prophet Adom Kyei Duah responded with a sincere prayer for Dr. Bawumia, expressing his positive outlook on the politician. In his prayer, he begged God to provide him the blessing that would enable Dr. Bawumia to succeed. As the assembly erupted in delight and jubilation, the prophet symbolically placed his cloth over Dr. Bawumia during his prayer.

This visit comes a few days after former President John Dramani Mahama made an unexpected appearance at the same church, marking another noteworthy occasion. When he was there, Mahama pledged that if he were elected president in the next elections, he would construct a road to the chapel.

With only six days left before the elections on December 7, 2024, the political scene is still dominated by a fierce race for the presidency, especially between the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the NPP, in which 12 candidates are running.
