On election day, I prevented NPP members from casting ballots—Prophet

Many supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have blamed their party's crushing defeat in the 2024 elections on member apathy.

After admitting loss, NPP presidential candidate Dr. Mahumudu Bawumia said that the majority of their members chose not to cast ballots on election day.

Notwithstanding these assertions made by the NPP's leadership, the majority of people are curious as to why some party members chose not to cast ballots.

Prophet Kumchacha, the founder of Kum's People Party (KPP), has publicly acknowledged that he prevented NPP members from casting ballots because of his spiritual guidance.

Speaking on Onua TV, he said “On the day of the elections I realized that if I don’t do something drastic the outcome will not be favourable for those of us who want NPP to lose.

“So spiritually I blocked and stopped most of the NPP members from voting so that’s the reason why they are saying that most of their people didn’t vote,” he stated as MyNewsGh.com reported.
