Sadly, a 10-year-old girl who was sent to South Africa for medical treatment with Ibrahim Mahama's assistance has passed away.

A tragic development is the death of 10-year-old Lisa Laryea, who was suffering from stage 4 acute myeloid leukemia.

Due to the widespread public awareness of Lisa's illness, Ghanaian philanthropist and billionaire Ibrahim Mahama took a sympathetic stance.

Mr. Mahama was moved by her situation and kindly paid the more than $110,000 that Lisa needed to get treated.

On November 24, 2024, he personally made arrangements for Lisa and her mother to be transported to South Africa so they could obtain expert medical care via an emergency-chartered air ambulance.

Even though Lisa received cutting-edge medical care and steadfast support from her loved ones, her health worsened and she passed away too soon.

As a result of her departure, the country is in mourning, with many people offering condolences and considering how fleeting life is.
