According to Sam George, the Ningo-Prampram member of parliament, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the vice president, went to plead with the family of the Emirates Airline manager who was abducted.

Ghanaians should disregard the Ministry of National Security's statement denying their role in the kidnapping, according to Sam George, since it is obviously false.

He explained that the vice president visited Madam Sylvia Baah's family to make a plea.

In a response, the Ministry vehemently denied that any National Intelligence Bureau or ministry officials were involved in the alleged abduction of Sylvia Baah.

"Ignore the Ministry of National Security," the Ningo Prampram MP wrote on his social media page on X in response to their announcement. They are lying outright. They are aware that the narrative is real, and even the vice president went to plead with the family.

"The misuse of authority by government operatives in our nation today is startling and extremely concerning. "Tomorrow is expecting 🦁," he continued.

A few days ago, there were reports that Madam Sylvia Baah had been kidnapped for refusing to postpone an Emirates flight that was scheduled to depart for Dubai on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, and that included National Security and National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) agents on the flight manifest.

According to reports, the flight was almost ready to take off on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, when three passengers—Kabena Adu-Boahene, the Director General of the National Signals Bureau (NSB), Benjamin Ansah, the Operations Director of the NSB, a National Security Council agency, and Rashida Saani Nasamu—arrived at Kotoka International Airport (KIA) late.

Sam George made these accusations in response to reports that prominent government insiders linked to National Security Coordinator Edward Asomani and Nana Attobrah Quaicoe visited Sylvia's family's home and pleaded with her not to go public. View his post below:
