On January 3, 2025, Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo attended the final State of the Nation's Address alongside her husband, demonstrating the unique traits of a loving and loyal wife.

As part of their responsibilities, the media followed Torkornoo when she arrived at the location and recorded her entering the room with her security detail and her husband, pharmacist Francis Torkonoo.

To demonstrate her love and support, she urged the person filming her to make sure her spouse was given equal attention and that her moment did not dominate his.

In a video seen by GhanaWeb, the Chief Justice asked her husband to accompany her so they could be photographed together.
