A driver taking a phone snatcher by the neck while driving is shown in a widely shared video.

While the motorist was driving at Accra's Madina Zongo Junction, the phone thief reportedly attempted to take his phone.

EDHUB posted the viral footage, which showed the Sprinter driver hanging onto the phone snatcher's neck while driving.

The phone thief was taken away for additional punishment with the trotro driver's friend in tow.

One X user commented, "I have been dreaming on doing this chale," under the post, expressing their thoughts. He won't steal again after that experience, so the driver should speed and tie the leg to the tire.

Somebody else commented, "What a way to conclude the year! Regardless, he made this life choice because he knew that if he were ever caught, he would have to deal with this or worse 🥳.

"Oh that boy di3333 jonky oo, I beeat am ahh taya," said another user, who also said the phone snatcher had been assaulted several times yet still returns to steal. He did it in a way that always made me feel good, but nonetheless," he wrote.
