Madam Priscilla Mensah, a senior meteorologist at the Kotoka International Airport, has advised the Ghanaian public to prioritise using face masks to prevent infections.

She explained that the harmattan and its dusty nature are heading from the northeast and the Sahara region.

The expert warned the public to prepare for more dusty weather until the end of February or the first week of March 2025.

Speaking on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, the weather constitution is severe compared to last year. "We will experience dusty situations, and so we encourage the public, particularly those who sell food along these trees, to cover their food to prevent it from being contaminated.
