According to the Kasoa Divisional Police Command, a 32-year-old man named Eric Adakanu killed his wife after she was accused of adultery.

The dead, Ayisha Mumuni, who was also 32, passed away from wounds caused by a machete.

In the Awutu Senya District of the Central Region, Ayisha traveled from Accra to Bawjiase to celebrate with her older brother, according to a report on 3news.com. However, it has been stated that Eric accused her of having extramarital affairs on a regular basis.

The portal clarified that in one of these cases, the mother of three was killed instantly when the suspect, after a heated argument with the deceased, grabbed a machete from their room and attacked her.

Police sources stated that after assaulting the victim, the perpetrator tried to flee, but he was captured by members of the Kasoa Divisional Police Command.

The Bawjiase District Police Command currently has Eric Adakanu under detention, helping with investigations.
