When Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, the founder and general overseer of Action Chapel International, witnessed former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and President John Dramani Mahama together in a joyful state during the period of transition between the two governments, he confessed to crying.

He claimed that he felt better and shed happy tears when he saw the two statesmen having a good time.

"Regardless of political affiliation, leaders must work together to improve the nation," he stated.

Critics said that the friendly interaction between Akufo-Addo and Mahama, which captured a playful moment between them, was really a publicity job for the cameras, but he denied this.

In a video that went viral, the preacher is heard speaking to his congregation and stating that seeing them together was a good sign for the country, even if the event was staged for the tourists.

We only want to see this, I remarked as I broke down in tears as I observed President Nana Akufo-Addo and the new President John Dramani Mahama taking photos and shaking hands.

For those of you who have your own opinions and don't believe in anything positive, you were claiming it was a fake even when you saw them sitting together. Please don't mind them.

Whether it was a false or real one, he claimed, "I saw the two of them sitting together like that, just like we saw the President of America and President Trump sitting together in the White House."

He went on to say, "And they shook hands, and when I saw those pictures, I said, God, my heart yearns to see more of this, where our leaders can truly come together and realize that it is about the country and the good of the citizens, not about them and their political party."
