You have defended the faults for eight years, so why complain now? A Plus assaults the NPP's foot soldiers

Kwame Asare Obeng, a.k.a. A Plus, was elected to the parliament and has questioned the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) grassroots and communicators about the reason behind their defeat.

He's seen that the party's communicators are driving home the same concerns they have been defending for the last eight years as the reason for their defeat.

A Plus is therefore surprised that they were unable to bring attention to these problems while in power and get them fixed in order to maintain their position of authority.

is a social media post that stated It appears that NPP supporters and communicators have suddenly come to understand all the problems that caused them to oppose the party. Ironically, they're saying that their demise was brought on by the same issues they once disparaged us for bringing to light. On the radio just now, I overheard an NPP communicator promising to help the NDC government find NPP officials who had embezzled money from the nation. So you knew this for eight years, yet you said nothing and even slammed the people who revealed it? Fantastic!

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been expressing dissatisfaction with its leadership since its defeat in the 2024 elections.

Among other things, they attribute the party's defeat in the 2024 elections to state capture, neglect, and the haughtiness of authority.

Some people are demanding that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo be removed as the party's leader because they feel he lost the party's support and turned it back to the opposition.
